Moments from an Autumn day,
Now present in my mind.
A road I drove with someone else,
Leaf and frost was lined.
|
|
Our destination a chilly shore,
Music in the car.
A sandy beach, the ocean roar,
once we got as far.
|
|
|
A hand to hold, if for a while.
Her warmth shown in the air.
We walked the coast not half a mile,
I couldn't help but stare.
At moments from an Autumn day,
when we were once a pair. -KB
